Welcome to the IndieDen, home of the SP Ent Team Blogs. Here you can find a growing body of writings from various members of SP Ent. on many subjects, including game dev, games, and entertainment. Our blogs are organized into Dens, for instance, the ArtDen, and, the CodeDen. There are also two special blogs: Paw Prints, which contains writings and musings about development and running an indie company from our Executive Director and Executive Producer Chris McKillip, and The Periwinkle Paw, which contains the written perspective of indie wife, Lead editor, and assistant producer, KC McKillip. Please read, comment, and enjoy.

Always up to Somethin’

We're Always Busy Especially When We're Quiet

We’ve been quiet for a while, so it might seem like we haven’t been up to much, but actually, we are hard at work on both old and new projects. Here’s what we’ve got on the fire.

On Saturday, August 3rd from 10am – 4pm, we’ll be showing off our latest projects and supporting the Moriarty Public Library at Moriarty Comic Con, one of our favorite small town conventions. In addition to showing off new progress in Raptors’ Realm, we’ll also be demoing Power Circuit, a two-player racing game featuring advanced mazes, parkour obstacles, and high-tech shell-thin armor to help you gain the edge over your opponent.

Speaking of newer projects, SP Ent. will be debuting a new website at Moriarty Comic Con.   Field of View (FoV) is a news aggregate site geared especially for Indie and AAA game fans. We’ll include the latest announcements, new releases, strategy and game reviews in AAA and Indie gaming. Right now the site is still under construction, but if you want to get a sneak peak at the look and feel, check it out at fov.news.  FoV is just the first of several web projects to come, including a face lift to our company website.

Of course, while we’re not showing off our latest projects at Moriarty Comic Con, we’ll be roaming around the con chatting with local authors and artists, checking out the cosplay, and perusing the many vendors on site. If you live in the Moriarty, New Mexico area (seriously, it’s totally worth the drive from Albuquerque), be sure to stop by our booth at the Moriarty Civic Center, and don’t forget to support some other local artists and authors in the process.  See you there.
