A General Update in June

An Update on Development and Business

As we approach another summer, we’ve been reflecting on our year so far. It was a challenging start to the year. We spent a good chunk of the end of last year and the beginning of this year fighting off various health challenges, including but not limited to the dreaded COVID 19, which, for us, was long but not serious. In the midst of that, our team members faced their own struggles, including the loss of a loved one. Still, we have not neglected the business, but we have neglected talking about it. So, let’s fix that.

On the dev side of things, Chris has been revamping the development pipeline, updating Unreal Engine, and putting the new engine to the test with various projects. He will be sharing the technical details of all this soon in a dev update.

On the business side, we have been working on various projects to build industry connections and bring in some working capital. This has led to exciting new relationship with some international businesses (More on that later). We have also been forming a plan to reach out and further develop connections with the raptor experts, both local and nationwide, who we’ve met over the past few years.

For research, we want to spend more time observing Raptors in their habitat. Unlike the general habitat research we did last year, this year will involve spending many hours in spots where we know raptors are nesting. We will be observing and taking pictures of birds in flight, in the nest, and hopefully even hunting. We will let you know how it goes.

We have many other goals related to Raptors’ Realm and the business as a whole, which we’ll expand on in future posts. For now, I want to close with a hearty thank you to those of you who continue to check in on us. We appreciate you!
