Lefty is a feisty Harris's Hawk who got his name because he has a white claw on his left talon. While interacting with our friends at the New Mexico Wildlife Center as they were doing some training flights with Lefty, we nabbed this awesome in flight action shot in the desert. With his wings down like this we can see where the designers for Star Trek got their inspiration for some of the star ships. We hope to add the Harris's Hawk to Raptors' Realm in an update in the future to highlight their cooperative behavior. If you like bird flight shots, or a good look at raptor feathers, this is the shot to choose.

Get it and show it off on any wall in your home, or make it a striking gift for the bird lover in your life.

Purchase from The Shop on Spring.
